Just some thoughts...

Every day, as I write Poetiquejustis, I pray it will be a blessing to someone.
Today, I hope it is you.

Wait Until You Hear This

When you write down your life,

every page should contain something that no one has ever heard about.

Elias Canetti

And that is why you have to reinvent the wheel!

Because you are going places

the old wheels never dreamed of!

You are going to travel roads

that no one else has traveled!

Find things that were made only for you to find!

Do things that only you were created to do!

And you are going to have to invent the wheel that gets you there.

Helen Keller said: Life is either a great adventure or nothing at all.

Go!

Invent that wheel that will take you on YOUR great adventure

And that’s poetiquejustis

The beautiful thing about this adventure called faith

is that we can count on Him never to lead us astray.” – Pastor Chuck Swindoll

Potential

Life begets life; energy begets energy.
It is by spending oneself that one becomes rich
Sarah Bernhardt
Got a drop of time?
Give it away
and watch it pour
Got a trickle of hope?
Spread it around
 and it will gush
Physics reminds us about the truth of potential energy
You are a universe of potential energy
What are you waiting for?
let it rip!
and that's poetiquejustis
But even if I am being poured out like a drink offering on the sacrifice and service coming from your faith, I am glad and rejoice with all of you.
Philippians 2:17

What Time Do You Have?

Our patience will achieve more than our force
Edmund Burke
It takes time

For bread to rise

For a tree to grow

For a flower to open

The art of living...why not try giving it a little time?

and that's poetiquejustis
But let patience have her perfect work,
that you may be perfect and entire,
wanting nothing. James 1:4

Response-able

No matter what anyone tells you, bright ideas can change the world
Robin Williams

Inner dialogue:
Self:
"I really think I just had a great idea!"
Self-response:
"Yea but,..."
End of conversation

Inner dialogue
Self:
"I really think I just had a great idea!"
Self response
"Go for it!"
Now you're talking!
and that's poetiquejustis

May these words of my mouth and this meditation of my heart
be pleasing in your sight, LORD, my Rock and my Redeemer.
Psalm 19:14

Moving On

The important work
of moving the world forward
does not wait to be done
by perfect people
George Eliot (Mary Ann Evans)
They say it takes a village
I say it takes you
And me
And anyone else ready to show up
And do the work
That's how it gets done
And that's poetiquejustis
Pure and genuine religion in the sight of God the Father means caring for orphans and widows in their distress and refusing to let the world corrupt you. James 1:27

Not The Same Old Song

Never play a thing
the same way twice
Louis Armstrong
If life is the same old song

turn the page

If life is the same old dance

learn a new step

If life is not fresh every day

Open the windows of your mind
and let in something  new
and that's poetiquejustis
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come:
The old has gone, the new is here!
2 Corinthians 5:17

Is that necessary?

If we do what is necessary, all the odds are in our favor.
 Charles Buxton

I have a lot to do, so I have been thinking about doing what is necessary

It comes from the Latin neccesarious:  unavoidable, indispensable

But what makes it "unavoidable, indispensable"?
How do you define "necessary"?

Doing what is necessary to pay the bills?
Doing what is necessary to get the job done?
 To live a balanced life?
Is all that necessary?
Oh, dear...I believe it is.....
Winston Churchill said:
"It is no use saying, 'We are doing our best.'
You have got to succeed in doing what is necessary".

Living life well....seems it is a necessity
