Not a bad idea.

You know enough to close the windows

against the rain

And you know enough to open the curtains

to let in the sun

Today, do the same for your soul!

Protect your heart and your mind

from anything that does not make you want 

to dance and sing 

with joy

Going Somewhere

 

Somewhere, something incredible is waiting to be known

We are all headed somewhere today

Some of us will be in a hurry

Some of will be dragging our feet

                                             Some of us will only move along in our minds

                                         But today, we are all headed somewhere

 

And we will not be the same person tomorrow that we are today

Why is so much the world built to move?

Rivers flow

Tides go in and out

Birds take flight with the seasons

It seems we too are  built for the journey

and perhaps to help someone along the way

 

Because everyone is going somewhere today.
