Some things just have to be said

You do not want to say them

so you look around the room...

You look around the world!

You look around the universe!

 for somebody- anybody!

To say what has to be said.

No one.

It looks like it has to be you

 So, you go for it

you know there has to be a way to say this without hurting 

Because all you want to do is help

But how do you say what needs to be said ....and not be ....well...mean

Remember the words of Tennessee Williams?

All cruel people describe themselves as paragons of frankness.

That's not you!

But the truth hurts, right?

Only if you make it hurt

Try a little a sugar with that lemon

In fact,

Heap on the sugar

 

Just put in the lemon for zest

But then again....maybe we are the ones who are slow

Slow to see where success really is .

Baby boomers from around the world reconnecting

Old flames

People you hardly remember

Once they were "there" in your past

And now they are "here" on your computer screen!

But how did they get from there to here?

Ask them! 

 I did recently and learned a friend had found his way from our high school graduation 

to today 

through working in Algeria

another has found her calling in the equestrian life

another as a well loved teacher

Ask your friends where they have been all your life!

- you are going to get some great answers

as you brighten your day and theirs

Why not decide who you want to be

 Learn how to be that person

And be that person everyday?

Yearn to Learn

I need to learn every day

I have a watch that tells me

what I ate, how many

steps I walk 

and even how well I slept

 It got me thinking...

We count our calories

We take care to sleep

We may even hit the road a bit

But do we keep track each day

of what we learned?
