It almost makes you nostalgic for those Chamber of Commerce Networking events

Me?

I work from home, so for me the world is becoming very virtual

But I am going to keep pushing away from the computer

and keep growing that library

of books and friends

One of the stories is about a very buttoned up gentleman

who lives an very non-experimental life.

                                           By chance encounter with someone's planner

(he works in the Lost and Found department)

He finds himself prompted daily to try something new

Little things that are big stretches for him

(read it...you will like it)

I read it every year

then take pen in hand to write one new "adventure"

for each day in December

I have found

That the big changes come

when you are taking small steps along the way

I was going through some Christmas cards today and I came across one from an old friend

sent a few years ago

 

she enclosed a note asking about my grandson

 

And telling me about her granddaughter

 She closed with: "Grandparents???  When did High School end?"

 

Indeed

 

You roll from day to day

 

And all seems the same

 

Until you realize 

 

it is not

and neither are you

Will you smile about that?
