Taking It On

What is coming will come

and we will meet it when it does

J K Rowling

Goblet of Fire

Taking a chance

Taking it on

 fighting back

 owning it

Knowing the risk

Bringing it home

and that's poetiquejustis

I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.

Torrential Hope

The best thing about the future

is that it comes one day at a time.

Abraham Lincoln

When there is a storm

I very rarely pay attention to the torrent

I like to watch the raindrops on the window

Make their way slowly

Avoiding some drops

Joining forces with others

Moving forward without knowing where it all will  end

Single drops that  never bother to look inside the window at me

But  simply move along the path

Leaving the future

the torrent

and me

 to find our own way

And that's poetiquejustis

Splashes

                                                           The grass is always greener

where you water it

Neil Barringham

The room that holds the odd things you care for

The friend that stays in touch

The book that you read and re-read and re-read

The sweater you grab when you are feeling sick

The chair that knows how to be quiet with you

I wish you many splashes!

and that is poetiquejustis

The LORD will guide you always; he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame. You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail.

Isaiah 58:11

You Just Never Know

Peace begins with a smile

Mother Teresa

Daylight begins with the sun

Evening begins with the stars

Do Not Stop Until You Find It!

Adventure is worthwhile

Amelia Earhart

Whatever the adventure

In the sky

In the sea

On the road

In your mind

Go there!

Do that thing!

Venture forth!

and don't come back

until you find

and that's poetiquejustis

"Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go."

Joshua 1:9

This Is Rich

Wealth is the ability to fully experience life

Henry David  Thoreau

You cannot nickle and dime life

You have to dive right in

and give it all you've got

You have to enjoy life

Get in to the swim of things

Because

Life is only as rich as you make it

So give it all you've got

and that's poetiquejustis

Rejoice always;

Rejoice always;

Rejoice always!

I Thessalonians 5:16
