I understand, Dad, but with all due respect.....
maybe that's not such a bad thing...
Streets do it.....and where would people be without them?
Bridges do it and because of them, people make it to the other side
Now what it we were not afraid to be the path that leads someone else to their success
Or the bridge that gets them from here to where
they want to go?
What if we were so sure of who we are and what we believe that we would be happy to let people find their way by walking through our lives?
Thoreau said: Pursue some path, however narrow and crooked in which you can walk in love and reverence.
We all need a "bridge" to that path sometime....someone who will let us take that shortcut through their life because we are too tired or too lost to find our own way.
Today...be a bridge, and the bless the feet that walk your way
