There are those they call "at risk"

Men, women and kids who are close to slipping through the cracks

 Some who already have

I have watched them claw their way out

Because someone saw them
and gave them a hand

 Some make it in to the light

And others fade away

But in every case what was important

Was the fact that someone saw someone worth saving

And did something about it

That is vision

And that's poetiquejustis 

 The greatest sin  is to see someone in need

 and do nothing about it.
