Just living is not enough
One must have sunshine
freedom
and a little flower
Hans Christian Anderson
I saw a beautiful garden today
In a most unlikely place
Planted around the wall of a carwash
It was one of the loveliest gardens I have seen in a while
The sky was grey and so was my mood
But these flowers were soft and colorful
A contrast to the machines that roared behind them
and the thoughts that roared in my mind
When I stopped at a traffic light
and looked at those flowers
everything in my day changed
Someone understood
That there must be beauty
if we are to make it through each day
And I just wanted to say thank you to that unknown gardener
and wish everyone
sunshine
freedom
and a little flower
in their day
And that's poetiquejustis
Consider the lilies, how they grow:
they neither toil nor spin; but I tell you,
not even Solomon in all his glory clothed himself like one of these.
Luke 12:27
