Kiddos!
When you hand them a drawing pad, or a clean art canvas
Without thought or pretense they fill it
With life, and color, and glee
Grown ups often cannot manage that
Staring at the blank canvas
pondering and planning
often putting it all away without a mark
Just happy not to have a mess of it!
Thoreau said that the world is but a canvas to our imagination
Today is a new day
a new canvas!
Fill it with life, and color and glee!
