Just some thoughts...

Every day, as I write Poetiquejustis, I pray it will be a blessing to someone.
Today, I hope it is you.

The Bird Who Taught Me to Fly

Read what my medal says: "Courage". Ain't it the truth? Ain't it the truth?

Cowardly Lion, The Wizard of Oz

Wouldn't that be great- if we could pin a medal on ourselves and suddenly be able to do the brave thing?

Make the brave choice...

Say the brave words.....

Walk through that door...

To have courage means literally to have heart.

Ironic, isn’t it….since when we are called upon to be courageous, our heart has usually been hurt

And we are asking ourselves to stand up to the very thing that has caused our heart to shrink and shatter.

To love again…to live again…to face life again.

I have a little friend names Rosie

She is a small, green parakeet who has a broken foot and deformed wing.

Rosie likes the view from the highest perch in her cage but falls off

Often

Every time this happens, she struggles over to the ladder and climbs back up to that top perch.

Rosie’s heart has seen life from the bottom and the top and she keeps having the courage to make her way back up.

That is courage

So go!

Take heart. Be strong and courageous.

Whatever perch you have fallen from, find the ladder and head back up!

If Rosie can do it, so can you.

And that’s poetiquejustis.
