Every once in awhile, a girl has to indulge herself
Sarah Jessica Parker
I hear a lot about Americans being self indulgent.
- even though at last count Americans: gave over $200 billion to charity last year; have a habit of donating organs to strangers; spend millions of hours to teach, tutor and mentor at risk youth; and otherwise do the best we can to make the world a better place....
But let's not quibble....
let's make all that self indulgence work for us.

Here is the Poetiquejustis diet plan for 2012:
Breakfast:
Power up your day with a smile and give it to the first person you see-
even if that person is in the mirror
Fill your bowl with gratitude for another day, another sunrise, another chance to live
Mid-day
Sandwich in a call to a friend, a note to a shut in, a chat with someone who is lonely
Toss around some ideas with friends that will be make your community a better place
Evening
Fill up on the positive, the edifying, and the stuff that makes you stronger
Note:
This diet works best if you cut negative thoughts, people and newscasters out of your life
Oh, and before you take another bite...
please remember this one indulgence Walter Winchell said we should avoid....
We must not indulge in unfavorable views of mankind, since by doing it we make bad men believe they are no worse than others, and we teach the good that they are good in vain.
and that's poetiquejustis
