A little knowledge that acts is worth infinitely more than much knowledge that is idle.
Khalil Gibran
My dad was the son of poor Italian immigrants in Brooklyn
His options were limited
His vision was not
He began his career washing test tubes
only because someone offered him the job
He ended his career with a PhD in physiology as a renowned researcher and academic
Funny thing is,
dad never had a dream
or a plan
to be a scientist.
But he had the opportunity,
so he acted
He acted as though he was a brilliant scientist
He did the things a brilliant scientist does
He read the things a brilliant scientists reads
He acted as though he was a brilliant scientist
until he became one
Dad always said:
"You do what is in front of you, and you do it well"
So, Go!
You are brilliant!
Act like the person you want to be until you become that person
and that's poetiquejustis
