--they have little competition. Andrew Carnegie
Mother Theresa said she spent very little time thinking about the masses-
she concentrated on individuals.
I am beginning to see that this is a much harder thing to do.
I wonder if we have not been so focused on the big picture
that we no longer see the faces
or the opportunities
Do we feel so overwhelmed by the enormity of it all
that we forget just how useful we can be?
We may never write the great American novel,
but we can send a note to someone to brighten their day
We cannot feed all of the hungry
But that does not mean we cannot serve up dishes kindness to those who hunger for it
We cannot shelter all of the homeless,
but we can give someone shelter in the shadow of a smile for a bit
Today, forget about the 'big picture',
and see life in snapshots
See life in close ups
And then doing something to improve the picture
And that's poetiquejustis
