Humor is the instinct for taking pain playfully

Every day, we all deal with people

who just do not know how to laugh it off

People who can turn a bowl of cold cereal

Into a three act play

or a simple problem 

in to a drama of Greek tragedy proportion

And then they manage to cast themselves in the role of both

victim

and hero

while making certain they 

 everyone within a thirty mile radius

You aren't like that, are you?

I didn't think so

That's why I like you

God's Gift

 

 

 

For to us a child is born, 

 

 

 

 

to us a Son is given,

 

 

 and the government will be on his shoulders. 

 

 

And he will be called Wonderful Counselor,

 

 

 Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace

 

 

He will rule with fairness and justice from the throne of his ancestor David for all eternity.

The zeal of the LORD Almighty will accomplish this.
 

 His government and its peace will never end.

A Heart for Christmas

The Spirit of Christmas takes a lot of heart room

...nope... that will never do...

You need room for the wrappings and the trappings

The egg nog and the toys

For the magical and miraculous

For little girls and boys

You need space for the less fortunate

And for trees that look so sad

So if you will let your heart grow big enough

This will be the best Christmas season you ever had!

Light and Love

Light the path for another

and yours becomes more clear

Lead a friend out of darkness
