By A Thread

She can from a family of French lace makers

Not the lace that is driven out of machines by the yard

 But Alencon Lace

Where each stitch told a story

 and was very much a part of the whole

Lace that was the product of body, mind, and spirit, reflecting nature

Tiny, tiny threads that joined together

 

to become part of life

and love

and whimsy

Today, each thread you join to the universe-

 no matter how small you think it is- will help to make the pattern
