Some people are always grumbling because roses have thorns;
I am thankful that thorns have roses.
Do you feel the ocean breeze
or feel the sand within your shoe?
Do you see the one bright star
or is there only darkness there for you?
If you can bless both thorn and rose
You then know all a wise folks know
