It is that time of the year again

Everyone smells faintly of thin mints and peanut butter sandwich cookies

Just as we were holding on to the last vestige of our New Year's diet resolution

Boxes of these start mysteriously appearing in lunch rooms, conference tables, and yes....my office

but maybe it is more than the cookies

maybe that taste of a thin mint

 not only takes us back

but we are hoping to be a part of what will also bring us forward

                             where we will be good     and we will be glad     and we will be brave

So go!  Buy some cookies!
