This morning,

As I prepare Thanksgiving dinner for my family

I hurt for people around the world who cannot feed their kids

As I let the water run in sink

I sigh for those who search daily for fresh water to drink

As I walk my neighborhood in safety

I pray for those whose streets are gone

I ask what I can do to help

And I give thanks for al I have

and that's poetiquejustis

They drink their fill of the abundance of Your house;
And You give them to drink of the river of Your delights.
