Just some thoughts...

Every day, as I write Poetiquejustis, I pray it will be a blessing to someone.
Today, I hope it is you.

Where is that light coming from?

The human body experiences a powerful
gravitational pull in the direction
of hope
Norman Cousins

Have you ever watched  people who are working for a company
that is closing down around them?

One by one, the desks are emptied
The top tier has fled

and middle management eliminated

All that is left are the guardians who will bring
and end to the business in such a way

that the owners will make money
until the final breath

But the folks that are still there
press on

Doing what they are asked to do
Piling hope against hope that there is an endgame to all of this
Other than the obvious

Desmond Tutu said: Hope is being able to see that there is light despite all of the darkness

There are people in this world who may look naive when they smile in dire circumstances
Do not be fooled
They see the light in the darkness
not because they are blind
But because they themselves carry the light within
They are the bearers of light and hope

And there will be light and hope wherever they are
as long as they are there.
And that's poetiquejustis

"You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt has become tasteless, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled under foot by men. You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden
Matthew 5
