We talk about life being
"a piece of cake"
I see life
as a piece of toast
and who wants dry toast?
You have to
Dip in and grab some enthusiasm
Spread it on thick
And while you are at it
apply some sweetness
Don't be stingy!
Apply liberally!
and don't worry about the crumbs you run it to
They were toast once
just like you
It's just that you
know how to apply yourself
