It would be nice if we could spend all of our day
adding to the scholarly body of knowledge
and the betterment of mankind
but as it happens-
We all have things that must be done
The milk and bread must be bought
The gas tank filled
The lawn mowed
but all thoughts, all deeds, all moments of life
no matter how seemingly mundane
can still be called great and noble
if we give them our very best
