When Norman Rockwell gave us this painting, it was a portrait in contrasts
...the young and the old
...the curious and the certain
and one woman, her head bowed,
amid the clutter of the world,
sharing a table with strangers,
making an impact upon all of those around her.
Maybe changing lives
Definitely making them think
Making more audible "noise" than all the preachers they ever heard.
By the simple act of being herself.
So go ....don't worry about doing the big things to change the world
People can tune those out
Just be you and do the wonderful little things in your every day life that make you
You may never see the changes you have made....but does that really matter?
And that's poetiquejustis
